(1) Personnel & General Affairs Division

To be responsible for coordinating and arranging routing affairs, such as secretaire, processing files and information, accounting, personnel, office automation, logistics, and security service.

(2) Policies for Overseas Chinese Affairs Division

To be responsible for researching and drawing up the policies and regulations for overseas Chinese affairs, protecting the rights of overseas Chinese and their relations according to the laws, handling the letters and visits concerning overseas Chinese, emigrations, citizens in Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions, returned overseas Chinese, and their relations; to help and give alms to returned overseas Chinese; to undertake coming back and living of overseas Chinese; to undertake the administration of donations from overseas Chinese and citizens in Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions.

(3) Economy and Technology with Abroad Division

To organize the comity and friendship to the overseas Chinese, emigrations, citizens in Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions, and their organizations; to serve for the reuniting of the country by the overseas Chinese affairs. To be responsible for introduction of the investment, human resource, and technology of overseas Chinese, emigrations, and citizens in Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions; to serve for the key object by the introduction, and to protect the rights and benefit of overseas Chinese company according to the law; to coordinate with the certain departments to handle the economic dissension involving overseas Chinese.

(4) Culture Popularizing Division

To be responsible for the cooperation and exchanges with overseas Chinese media, cultural organizations, and Chinese education; to organize the summer or winter camp for overseas young Chinese; to direct the publication and printing of the country information for overseas Chinese.

(5) Party Committee for the Office

To be responsible for the affairs related to the Party and the masses, and the work of supervision and inspection.
